Spanish & English speaking Nanny in Victoria, London

Friendly American family based in Victoria are looking for a bi-lingual Spanish/English nanny for their baby who is 10 months old. This is a live out daily role working 730-630 Monday to Friday.

Essential requirements are to speak Spanish at native level and fluent English PLUS strong recent baby experience with this age group as a sole charge nanny in London, staying at least a year or more in each job and with excellent checkable references from these jobs

This little boy is an a good routine and is a smiley, happy baby, who loves being around other children,

The family would like a nanny who is fairly local. It is really important for this family that the nanny has good recent experience with a child of this age as a sole charge nanny and where they have stayed for a reasonable duration. Ideally you will have plenty of baby experience and be aware of all the milestones and be able to help complete weaning, and to advise these first time parents with potty training when the time comes.

This is a long term role and they will need the nanny even with the little boy starts part time nursery when he is two, so they would like to see long term roles on the CV. The family do not need a driver, and have no parking, but they are right next to the tube, so very central and easy to get to. There are no pets and nursery duties only are needed. The family travel to New York a couple of times a year and it is optional if the nanny would like to go with them.

The father works outside the home and travels with work, the mother works both at home and outside the home, but it is a very sole charge role and it is important that the nanny can plan the day and just get on with things, but equally not mind the mother being in and out. If both parents are travelling with work then there may be the odd occasion where they ask the nanny to stay over as a proxy parent and there is a lovely guest room with en suite available, the nanny will of course be told in advance when this is going to be the case.

The right person will be kind, warm, fun, and energetic as this little chap is very active! You will need to be someone social who will go to playdates, classes and have a good nanny net work.

The present nanny has been with with the family since the little boy was 4 months old and they are all very happy, however, the nanny is based quite far away and the commute is getting too much for her so she will be leaving around 27 April. The family would love a nanny who can do a handover with their present nanny on 25, 26, or 27 April but if not, then can wait until early May and the mother will do the hand over. The family are happy to pay the market rate for a good nanny who ticks all their requirement boxes.
