Italian & English speaking Nanny / Personal Assistant in Italy

Overview

Our clients, a lovely Australian-American holistically minded and healthy family relocating to Italy soon is looking to employ an Italian speaking Nanny/ PA/ All-Rounder.

The family is looking for an all-rounder who can support with their children sometimes, with the house sometimes and play a minor PA role- the family is still learning Italian, so having someone who can run errands, make calls and coordinate home and local vendors for projects is ideal to them.

They want someone very trustworthy with an above and beyond attitude who is happy to support their family and loves travelling with them.

The ideal candidate:

Great sense of initiative and proactiveness
Someone who doesn’t just do what is asked but actively looks for ways to make their life smoother and more harmonious.
Someone willing to be their family support- whether that is caring for their children, helping with projects, running errands or home/ assistant roles. Both parents work from home, and spend time with their kids a lot, so someone who is able to support the family beyond simple childcare is essential, especially, as they are still learning Italian so would love for someone to be able to help them to co-ordinate house projects etc.
Bilingual- Italian and English. English doesn’t have to be perfect but very good to communicate.
Willing to travel especially last-minute trips. They like to take trips, whether weekend trips or little getaways. Mostly it will be within Spain, London and occasionally it will either be to the USA. The have family in Australia and hope to visit, however at this point the nanny/ PA does not have to travel with them to Australia.
Someone with a positive attitude, very confident with children, very creative with games and things to do to help keep them busy and occupied
The family would love for this person to be flexible. Say, a project comes up for the clients somewhere else in Europe, ideally, they would love for you to be up for the adventure:)
A bit more about the family:

They are a very loving, close, healthy global family. An Australian Mum and American Dad to two of the most gorgeous, funny, loving little children. (girl) is 4 and (boy) is 2. They have lived all over the globe. They have always been very close with those who’ve supported their family and have maintained long-term relationships with them all. They become family to them. Both parents work from home.

Start: tbc 3rd 20 April – Begin May

Location: Northern Italy – Monferrato – Main base for the family home but they do travel frequently

Children’s ages: 2 and 4 years old

Driver: Preferably – Yes

Languages: Native Italian speaker and who has good conversational English as both parents speak English and very little Italian

Requirements: Childcare experience/ Police Clearance and First Aid a MUST

Working Hours per week: 45 hours per week

Babysitting: Once a week/ if requested
